While Pentecostals believe that the special gifts of the New Testament period have not ceased, we don’t see Pentecostals regularly healing people, or prophesying (at least not to a Deut. 13:1-5 standard), and even when they speak in tongues, it’s in the “tongue of angels” rather than any recognizable language. This commentator isn’t Christian – he is a gay agnostic who believes in global warming – but he holds this with us in common: that mankind is the pinnacle of creation. Therefore he opposes policies that “help the planet” by hurting the people on it. That means he’s also not blinded by the climate catastrophists’ ideology, and is capable of critiquing their record.

Can college-age men and women be just friends?
This is just funny – a highly unscientific but, I think, still revealing survey that highlights how guys and girls sure are different. Can there be exceptions? Sure. But is this a general rule at that age? Do your own survey and let me know if your results are any different.
What’s the Christian perspective here? Maybe just that, because guys and girls do think differently, this highlights how the Billy Graham Rule is a sensible way to prevent any confusion.
